Net worth calculator
Add what you own and subtract what you owe to estimate your net worth. Use balances from the same date and the same currency for a useful snapshot.
Enter your amounts to see an estimate. Enter 0 for an amount or fee that does not apply.
How to choose your inputs
Collect asset and debt balances for the same date and currency. Use a reasonable current value for property rather than the original purchase price, and include the full related debt on the liability side. If an account is jointly owned, choose a consistent household or individual scope before adding totals.
How to interpret your result
Net worth measures a balance-sheet position, not the cash available for next month’s bills. Property and retirement assets may be difficult or costly to access even when the total is positive. Compare later snapshots using the same scope, and investigate whether a change came from saving, debt reduction or a revised asset value.

What counts as an asset or a liability?
Assets can include cash, savings, investments, retirement accounts, and a reasonable current resale value for property or vehicles. Liabilities include outstanding credit card balances, mortgages, student loans, and other debts. Enter a home’s full estimated value as an asset and the remaining mortgage as a liability. Do not enter only the equity and then subtract the mortgage again.
How net worth is calculated
Net worth = total assets − total liabilities. For example, assets of USD 120,000 minus liabilities of USD 85,000 give a net worth of USD 35,000. Assets of USD 10,000 and liabilities of USD 15,000 give negative USD 5,000. A negative balance is displayed rather than rounded up to zero.
Use a snapshot alongside your cash flow
Values can change and some assets take time or money to sell. This calculator does not deduct sale costs or taxes, forecast investment returns, or determine eligibility for credit. It accepts totals from 0 to 1 billion per category and displays results to the nearest cent. Use one currency; currency conversion is not included.
