Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information Savi Finance collects, how we use it to provide budgeting and forecasting features, and the choices you have over your data.

Summary in plain words

We require an email address and use one-time codes for sign-in. Your profile includes details you provide for financial planning, and you can add financial records or link institutions. We use your information to provide Savi's features, protect accounts, and support the service. We do not sell personal information.

What you share with us

We require an email address to create your account and use emailed sign-in codes instead of passwords. Your profile includes a selected location and can include life details such as date of birth, family situation, and home or car ownership. Savi uses life details to help project your financial future. You can add transactions and goals, or link an institution to import account and transaction data.

Service access logs include request metadata such as the request method and path, status, duration, source IP address, user-agent, and timestamp. Claude connector tool-call audit events also record the client identifier, tool name, user-agent, source IP address, and a masked credential identifier. These audit events do not include tool arguments or Claude conversation text.

How we make Savi more personalized for you

Your information helps us make Savi better for you every day. We use it to personalize your experience, from tailoring financial insights and projections to your goals. When you add transactions to Savi, we process that information to keep your financial picture up-to-date. We also send service updates and monitor for security risks or fraudulent activity to help protect your data.

Keeping you in control of your data

You can manage what you share through Savi's household features. We use service providers to operate Savi and may disclose information when required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

You can delete your account in the mobile app and export transaction data as a CSV file. To request access to or correction of other personal information, or for help with a data request, contact us at .

On the Savi Finance Business marketing page, Pendo analytics loads only after you accept optional analytics. Your choice is stored in this browser, and you can change it from Cookie settings in the footer. Declining keeps this optional analytics script disabled.

Connecting Savi to Claude and other AI services

If you authorize an AI client such as Claude to connect to Savi, that client can send tool requests to Savi on your behalf. Depending on the tools and permissions you approve, requests may read your profile, accounts, transactions, goals, projections, and other Savi records, or create, change, or delete records in your Savi account. The connector records financial information in Savi; it does not transfer funds or initiate bank payments. Savi processes the inputs needed for each requested tool and returns the result to the connected client.

Savi's connector does not request Claude chat history, memory, conversation summaries, or uploaded files. Its MCP tool-call audit events record the tool name and security metadata such as the client identifier, IP address, user-agent, and a masked credential identifier. Those events do not include tool arguments or conversation text. Tool inputs are still processed to perform the requested action and may be saved as Savi account data when a tool creates or changes a record.

When you use Claude, the tool request and result pass through Anthropic's service. Anthropic handles that content under its own terms and privacy settings. Review Anthropic's privacy information for details about its handling and retention. Savi does not control how Anthropic retains information after it is sent to Claude.

How long we keep information

We keep account and financial records while your Savi account is active. When account deletion completes, Savi removes data owned by your profile from active Savi systems. Bank connection records may remain while provider revocation and local erasure are pending. Information in shared records where you participated may remain available to other profiles. Cleanup of legacy connected-service data and file storage is best effort. Backup copies may remain after deletion; our retention policy does not specify a fixed backup expiry period.

We store account-deletion feedback in a separate record linked to your profile ID. It includes your email address, selected reasons, optional text you provide, and whether you agreed to be contacted. Our retention policy does not set a fixed expiry period for these records and specifies periodic review. The policy sets one-year and seven-year targets for access and security-incident logs; retention of provider-held copies depends on provider settings.
